I guess since it’s President’s Day, the simple logic follows that children get the entire week off. I really forgot how awesome this was - we would get weeks off at a time, for absolutely no reason at all. President’s Day? Let’s slap a “Winter recess” on it and give them a week off. April Fool’s Day? Hey we didn’t use “Spring recess” yet, and that works so 2 weeks off. Teacher’s love handles need some reconstructive liposuction to fix the dimples made by 60 years of horrible eating habits? Call it “Spring break” and dish out another week off. Those were good times…
Anyway I digress - today, two of my coworkers brought in their super cute 6-year-old daughters to work today. They are playing and drawing in coloring books in one of the delinquent worker’s cubes haha. SO CUTE! Right now they’re debating on which Disney princess is the best.
