I noticed when people walk around with papers, they seem busier. This is attributed to several things:
1. The sound of papers fluttering alerts people that you have something in your hand, not just strolling around.
2. Papers usually signify meetings or other similar paper-requiring deals such as presentations or cubicle meets.
3. Bored people do not carry around papers. They carry around nothing, a coffee mug and/or toys.
Also, walking to the printer signifies work too.
